We were absolutely thrilled to be back at the The Oxford Wine Festival 2025 this year — and what a fantastic event it was!

From the very first pour to the final toast, the atmosphere was electric. Set against the charming backdrop of one of the UK’s most historic cities, the fair brought together wine lovers, trade professionals, and curious newcomers for a day filled with discovery, conversation, and of course — incredible wine.

This year, we were especially proud to showcase Czech wines once again. While still a hidden gem to many in the UK, Czech wine is gaining more and more attention for its quality, authenticity, and distinctive regional character. It was particularly exciting to introduce Sekt 1876 ZVB – Bohemia Wine — a brand-new addition to our portfolio. This elegant, traditional-method sparkling wine proved to be a real crowd-pleaser, drawing plenty of interest and praise throughout the day. Its fine bubbles and balanced freshness made it a standout in the sparkling category.

We also had great responses to our Frankovka Horak 2020 VOC – Bohemia Wine, a full- bodied and smooth red that offered something refreshingly different from the heavier styles typically found on the UK market. It was a reminder of how approachable and food-friendly Central European reds can be — and just how much potential Czech red wines hold for UK consumers.

Beyond the tastings, the fair was a wonderful opportunity to connect with sommeliers, independent wine merchants, fellow importers, and wine enthusiasts who are eager to explore beyond the familiar. It’s clear that there’s a growing appetite for authentic, well-crafted wines with a story — and Czech wines absolutely deliver on that front.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s Oxford Wine Fair — and until then, we’ll keep working to bring the best of Czech wine to the UK market.
